SOUND & VISION

LANI AKEA means “immeasurable sky” and symbolizes our cosmic home. She takes listeners on a sonic journey through the infinite vastness of the universe.Her sound is dark, hypnotic, and energetic. Through deliberate dramaturgy, she builds tension that is felt physically, propelled forward by a momentum that never lets go.Depending on the event and her vision for the night, she weaves in harder elements and psychedelic accents — a sound that appeals to those drawn to hypnotic, driving forces just as much as to those who seek uncompromising intensity.Whether a set stays rooted in pure Techno or moves into harder and psychedelic dimensions, the result is always the same: raw, relentless, and thrilling.That’s exactly what LANI AKEA is: Tension. Momentum. Energy.Since August 2025, she has been resident DJ at Kiss Klub in Die Rakete, one of Nuremberg’s most influential techno series. For more than 22 years, Kiss Klub has been shaping the city’s underground sound — a powerful platform for deep, driving techno.

LANI AKEA's vision is to share the energy, variety, and rhythms that fascinate and passionately drive her. Her goal is to create unforgettable moments that surprise and emotionally touch her audience. It's about musical energy that motivates, captivates, liberates, and makes the here and now tangible.

HOW IT ALL BEGAN

Music has been a constant in her life since early childhood. She dived deep into many different genres that intrigued her and developed a strong sense of which sounds would move people. As a guest at parties, she quickly became a sought-after vibe curator. Organizers and guests asked her and even expected her to select the music and set the mood.
She was particularly captivated by the energy of electronic music, which drew her in more and more. Over time, she developed a desire to form something bigger out of individual tracks and create her own musical journey. This led her to DJing.
